FDNY Soccer Club - 2008 Youth Soccer Clinic

Saturday, May 31^st ~ Sunday, June 1^st

The FDNY Soccer Club and the Firefighter Sergio Villanueva Soccer Foundation are hosting our 2008 Youth Soccer Clinic.  This year’s Clinic will feature Coaches from the World famous Liverpool Football Academy.  The Liverpool Academy is the training ground for tomorrow’s stars of the English Premier League.  The Clinic will also include Players and Coaches from both the Merseyside Fire Service, of Liverpool, as well as the FDNY Soccer Team. 

The clinic will focus on skills training, instructional stations, and mini-games.

Dates:   Session  I:                 Saturday,  May 31st                   2:00 pm – 6:00 pm  

    Session II:                 Sunday,  June 1st                        9:00 am – 2:00 pm

-    Children can register for one or both of the sessions. 

-         Sunday’s session will be followed by and FDNY match.   

Age: The clinic is sponsored by the FDNY Soccer Club and the FF Sergio Villanueva Soccer Foundation and is FREE to children ages 5-15. 

  Location:  Flushing Meadow Park -  Fields 8 & 9 

Directions:  Long Island Expressway to College Point Blvd.  Traveling westbound it is exit 22 on the LIE.  Exit at College Pt. Blvd.  The entrance to the park is just off the exit on your left.  Enter the park and turn right.  Pass the first parking lot and travel approximately 100 yards.  Take your next right into parking lot F and follow the road which travels under the highway.  You will see the fields in front of you on the left.  Turn left into the parking lot and walk into the gate.  Fields are on top of the hill.

Reservations for the Clinic are mandatory.  Children must be in the company of a parent and/or Coach.  Players should bring their own soccer ball and necessary equipment.  Space is very limited.  Please respond early to ensure your spot.
